Colleague Maciej Baranowski’s book , ” Phonological Variation and Change in the Dialect of Charleston, South Carolina”, is now available in the library. There’s only one copy, but for those of you who can’t wait to see what’s inside, Duke University Press have put out a teaser with the table of contents and a foreword by William Labov.
