Colleague Nuria Yáñez-Bouza has recently received word on the success of two BA grant applications. First is a Small Research Grant for her 2-year project (July 2008-July 2010), entitled “ECEG-database: A bibliographic resource for the study of eighteenth-century English grammars” (with colleague Maria Esther Rodriguez Gil, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). The second is an Overseas Conference Grant to take part in the ICEHL (International Conference of English Historical Linguistics(Munich, August 2008). Well done, Nuria!
