Isabel Pereira in the weekly seminar

A friendly reminder that tomorrow’s seminar (4pm, Samuel Alexander A101) features Isabel Pereira (University of Coimbra, Portugal) who will be speaking on ‘Varieties of Portuguese: Some phonological and syntactic features.’ Drinks at Kro Bar will follow the talk. Be there!

(Following principles of linguistic change, “Be there or be square!”, given its high frequency of use in this newsblog has now been reduced to just “Be there!”. It’s meaning remains the same—If you don’t show up to the talk, your bodily shape will promptly assume that of a polygon with four equal sides and angles. Don’t test us.)
