Manchester Phonology Meeting list of papers

Posted on April 12, 2008 by

The list of papers for the world’s premiere phonology rave is up and available here.  The program boasts a paper by colleague Ricardo Bermúdez-Otero with a title that can’t be reproduced properly here without the aid of some better fonts, but it’s something like “[D ́ swI»NÅmIt ́ »tŒ ̆nd  ́»genst s ́ »mINIs »kQmb ́l]. Evidence for Chung’s Generalization.”  (Readers are encouraged to check the list of papers above for the right title… )

Also presenting is Guido Seiler (German department), who will give a paper (co-authored with Kathrin Würth of U of Zurich) entitled “On two types of moraic consonants – Winteler’s Law in the light of Moraic Theory.”  Check the list of papers for all the details!
