Dear Philological Society member,

You will be very welcome at our next Philological Society meeting, which will be held on 13 February in the School of Oriental and African Studies. Tea will be served to members and guests at 3.45 p.m., and the  meeting will begin at 4.15 p.m., when Professor Eva Schultze-Berndt (University of Manchester) will present a paper entitled “When non-finite verbs are not verbs: finiteness and parts of speech systems in typological perspective”.
