Rebecca Keens (Google) and the Endangered Languages Project

Posted on August 6, 2012 by

An alumna of our department, Rebecca Keens, recently got back in touch with Kersti to bring the Endangered Languages Project to our attention. The project’s run jointly by Google – Rebecca’s employer – and the Alliance for Linguistic Diversity, and you can read more about it by following the links or watching the video below.

Manchet likes the project, and is also happy to hear from alumni who are out there doing interesting things! Rebecca graduated from our department in 2005, in German and Linguistics, and recently joined Google – well known as a wacky and incredibly dynamic employer – as a Digital Consultant at their offices in Dublin, working with new businesses.

If you’re a current undergraduate interested in learning more about opportunities at Google, Rebecca is happy to be contacted via her LinkedIn profile.
