Morphosemanticist Antonio Fortin, who will be joining the department for 2012-13, was spotted at the Societas Linguistica Europaeaeaea annual meeting in Stockholm this week, giving a talk on “Constructions, pragmatics, and modality”. Manchet looks forward to welcoming him to Manchester!
