Atintono, bringer of books

PhD student Samuel Atintono hasn’t been idle this summer. As well as passing his viva this week, he has played a key role in negotiating for a hefty shipment of linguistics books to be delivered to Winneba’s University of Education, in his home country of Ghana.

The books, which formerly belonged to bibliophile emeritus Nigel Vincent, were gratefully received by the Faculty of Languages at Winneba. Nigel and Kersti generously paid for the books to be transported.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; give a man a linguistics book, and he’ll be busy analysing linguistic idiosyncrasies for a lifetime!

Manchet applauds!
