Vincent in Boston

No rest for the wicked! Despite his retirement, professor emeritus Nigel Vincent has been trotting the globe to give a string of invited talks. This week he’s been in Boston for the 2013 LSA annual meeting, delivering an invited paper on “Compositionality and change” as part of the workshop on Foundations of Historical Linguistics.

This workshop was co-organized by Beth Evans (ANU), who was a Simon Fellow in our department a few years ago. Also spotted at the conference was former colleague Kristine Hildebrandt, and new colleague Laurel MacKenzie was also on the programme.
