LEL Careers Panel

Undergraduate students! Have you been wondering what you can do after a degree in linguistics/English language? The answer is pretty much anything apart from doctor or vet. Come along to an event and hear from former students about going into a management traineeship and then becoming social media manager for an international non-government organization, and about joining Google and getting to work for their endangered language programme. You’ll also find out what a forensic phonetician does. The careers unit will tell you about many other possible careers and what you can do during your degree to make sure you are in a good position to apply for graduate jobs when you have finished your degree.

The event will take place on Wednesday 17th April at 1pm in the Samuel Alexander Arts Theatre. Find it on Facebook here.
