Ricardo in the States

Last week Manchet reported that Ricardo Bermúdez-Otero was giving a talk at MIT. This turns out to be only the tip of the iceberg, as Ricardo is giving an array of talks at top East Coast universities over the space of a week. Here’s the run-down:

4 April, MIT, Ling-Lunch
‘Lexical storage and cyclic locality in phonologically driven allomorph selection’
http://whamit.mit.edu/2013/04/01/ling-lunch-44-ricardo-bermudez-otero/

6 April, UMass Amherst, RUMMIT
‘An amphichronic approach to English syllabification’
http://blogs.umass.edu/linguist/conferences-and-workshops/rummit-april-6th-2013/

8 April, MIT, Phonology Circle
‘Lexical storage and the cyclic reapplication of phonological processes’
http://web.mit.edu/linguistics/groups/phoncircle/

11 April, UPenn, Speaker Series
‘The stem-level syndrome’

Manchet hopes that Ricardo will return, and that the Americans won’t try (justifiably) to keep him for themselves!
