The last Langwidge Sandwidge of 2013 will be on Tuesday 7th May at 1pm, and will feature Manchester’s own Michael Ramsammy and Erik Schleef on Investigating the social meanings of variation in (th) in Edinburgh: a perceptual study. As usual, the venue will be Samuel Alexander A214. You can view the abstract here.

This research has been carried out as part of their project “Regional language variation and the indexical field“, funded by the Leverhulme Trust (see the featured image above!).
