Multilingual Manchester is hosting a two-day workshop on Valuing community languages: policy impact of research into urban multilingualism.

The workshop will take place in early May and features researchers who have been exploring urban multilingualism around Europe, accompanied by panels with stakeholders from local government, businesses, and linguistic minority communities. There will also be presentations by current MA students Deepthi Gopal and Philippa Hughes, and former undergraduate and MLM research assistant Alex Robertson.
