Q-Step summer projects for undergraduates

This year, Manchester’s new Q-Step Centre is offering a range of summer internships for current undergraduate students!

Projects are open to students on any LEL course (and others) who are taking the pre-requisite course units: within LEL, this means being a current second-year student and taking the module Language Variation and Change. Most projects will be 6-8 weeks long, and places will be competitive, but students who are accepted onto the projects will receive a stipend.

The projects all involve the use of quantitative skills. Some that might be of particular interest to LEL students include:
