mFiL returns for 2014

The 2014 instalment of the Manchester Forum in Linguistics will take place on 13th-14th November at The University of Manchester. The call for papers is now available to view! From the call:

Submissions for oral and poster presentations in all areas of linguistics are welcomed. Presentations should be no more than 20 minutes in length with 10 additional minutes allocated for questions, comments and discussion. Preference will be given to abstracts which contain implications for linguistic theory or employ novel methodology.

The plenary speakers will be Wing Yee Chow (Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language), Joel Wallenberg (University of Newcastle), Manchester’s new quantitative linguistics hire Xiao He (University of Southern California), and LEL alumna and Manchet favourite Patrycja Strycharczuk (Queen Margaret University).
