Lectureship for James Murphy!

PhD student James Murphy has accepted a position as Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics at the University of the West of England!

James should be finishing his PhD, supervised by Maj-Britt Mosegaard Hansen and Erik Schleef with Yaron Matras as panel member, this summer. He’ll be moving to take up this permanent full-time position in the autumn.

That James has already bagged a job in the third year of his PhD shouldn’t be surprising, given his strong publication record, his nomination for a teaching award, his profile at international conferences and the fact that his research has been featured on the radio and in national newspapers. Nevertheless, congratulations are in order!
