mFiL deadline 5th August!

The abstract deadline for the Manchester Forum in Linguistics is this coming Wednesday, 5th August! The star-studded line-up of keynote speakers includes:

  • James Murphy (University of the West of England; pragmatics and discourse analysis)
  • Márton Sóskuthy (University of York; computational phonetics and phonology)
  • Danielle Turton (Newcastle University; phonological variation and change)
  • Jenneke van der Wal (University of Cambridge; comparative syntax and information structure)

mFiL is an annual international conference which brings together new researchers from every field of linguistics. The aim of the event is to share current work, results and problems, and to provide information and advice for postgraduate students and early career researchers.
