Ending a sentence with a preposition

LEL lecturer Nuria Yáñez-Bouza is featured in a recent Usage Notes blog post from the Merriam-Webster dictionary. The article highlights Nuria’s argument that it was seventeenth-century grammarian Joshua Poole, not John Dryden, who created the proscription against stranded prepositions.
