Many Mancunians made the trip across the Pennines to the 2016 LAGB meeting in York – so many that there were two slots where listeners had to choose which Manchester LEL talk to attend!
Normally Manchet lists the talks in question, but there are a lot this year, and besides you can find them on the programme. But presenters included students George Bailey, Fernanda Barrientos, Khawla Ghadgoud, Deepthi Gopal and Henri Kauhanen, as well as grown-ups Maciej Baranowski, Ricardo Bermúdez-Otero, Kersti Börjars and Eva Schultze-Berndt. The latter was also giving a language overview of Jaminjung/Ngaliwurru in a great LAGB tradition.
Well done to all involved!
