Denison on Japan tour

LEL professor emeritus David Denison is embarking on a three-week trip to Japan in November-December. It’s a JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Visiitng Fellowship. At Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata he will be introduced by Dr Ayumi Miura, a lecturer who is a former Manchester PhD student. There will be three other and different lectures in Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagoya.

Previously this year David has given invited talks in Stockholm, Uppsala, Seville, and the keynote at Olga Fischer’s retirement symposium in Amsterdam, plus a paper at ISLE4 in Poznan. Keep up the good work, and keep enjoying the nice places, David!
