Kauhanen wins Best Output Award

Manchet has learned that Henri Kauhanen is the winner of the Manchester Doctoral College‘s Best Outstanding Output Award 2016!

The award is for Henri’s paper Neutral change, which emerged online for Journal of Linguistics in 2016 and was also the winner of the LAGB’s Siewierska Prize, as Manchet previously reported. The Best Outstanding Output is a Faculty-wide gong, and there will be an awards ceremony in June.

As the accolades continue to roll in, Manchet can only hope that it’s not a case of mistaken identity like the Oscars. For now though, at least, congratulations again to Henri!
