Readers of Manchet are no strangers to Donald Morrison, who has featured regularly on these pages with his impressive publications, and his handsome pets. As of today, Donald is Doctor Donald after he sailed through his viva, passing it with *no corrections*. Donald’s thesis is titled “Modularity and stratification in phonology: Evidence from Scottish Gaelic”, and it includes four publications, the Phonology and Morphology papers linked up above, as well as two more manuscripts that are forthcoming. News of these publications will appear in due course, and yes, there are two more pets to go with the posts. Stay tuned.
Many congratulations to Donald 👏!!!
