LEL’s Vera Hohaus has won Outstanding Staff Award for Teaching, Learning and the Student Experience. The nominations for this award come from students, and the criteria include providing a well-organised course that is taught effectively and supported through high-quality assessment and feedback, engaging and challenging the students in a supportive manner and motivating them to learn.
While we might be getting used to Vera winning the Teaching award (see here), this year she has also scooped the Outstanding UG Supervisor Award. This award recognises a significant, positive impact on student experience of undertaking the dissertation through their support, guidance and advice.
